An effective way to find information is to search by subject headings:

• Nursing Care Plans
• Nursing Theory
• Palliative Treatment

To search using subject terms:

   In the Omni:

1. Go to the Omni
2. Type in your term and select Subject Heading from the drop-down menu

    In article databases

1. Look for a thesaurus in the database or try the "suggest subject headings" feature in CINAHL.
2. Review the Medical Subject headings (MeSH) vocabulary database in PubMed.
