Finding Books in the Library

To find books on a specific topic, try doing a subject search

How do you do that?

  1. Go to the Online Catalogue and choose Subject Heading from the drop-down menu
  2. Type in your search term-  for example - Canada Politics and Government and then click on the Search button
  3. Note the different subjects related to the Canada Politics and Government

Subject Heading Examples:

  • Criminal Law -- Canada
  • Criminal Procedure -- Canada

You can also find books according to their Call Number:

  • K5000-5582 Criminal law and procedure

Can't find the book/article you need in our collection?

Use Omni to place all requests for interlibrary loan materials. Search for your item in Omni (make sure you are signed in to place the request), and click on the "Get it from another library" link.
