While OMNI can be used to find newspaper articles, the Lakehead Library has other databases that are more suited to finding news stories - most are accessible from the library's list of newspaper databases:

• Canadian Major Dailies - stories from the major Canadian newspapers, such as the Globe and Mail, Ottawa Citizen, Montreal Gazette, and others. Online access dates back to the mid 1980s.

For U.S. and international news, try Lexis Advance Quicklaw Plus (For all students) , which can be found on this library page.

One way to navigate to news is to start with the Browse button at the top left of the Lexis homescreen:

And then choose SOURCES  -->  select a country/region --> select "Category" --> select News
