Click on the Print Preview link at the top-right of the page or the print icon next to a specific section, select the graphic size you want, then click continue and print

Convert your document to PDF format by clicking on the Export to PDF link at the bottom of the page. Select the page or range of pages and click on Export to PDF. You can then print your PDF in Adobe Acrobat.

If you are using Adobe Digital Editions, you can view the exact number of pages you may print by right-clicking on a book and choosing Item Info.

 

 

 

The amount of a book that can be printed depends on the publisher, but in many cases the amount is 20% of the book (i.e. if a book is 200 pages from cover-to-cover, you may print up to 40 pages).

eBook Collection 

Open the e-book and click on the Save icon on the right hand side of the page. Select the current page or current page and the next up to 60 pages.  Select Save PDF.

Up to 60 pages of an e-book can be saved for printing or emailing per user as a PDF file from within the eBook Full Text viewer.

Open the e-book chapter and click on the Download icon on the right hand side of the page. Select the current page or current page and the next up to 60 pages.

Click on the link to PDF of the chapter you want and then click on the print icon from Adobe Acrobat

Oxford Scholarship Online

Click on the Printer Friendly Page icon in the left-hand corner of the page and click OK.

Print up to a single chapter from each Oxford Scholarship Online title or up to 5% of the pages of any title, whichever is the greater

Each ebook differs - ProQuest Ebook Central will indicate this for each title.

Sage Knowledge

Click on the Print icon at the top of page. A new window will open and you can click on the print icon.

Users may print a reasonable amount of the purchased materials. “Reasonable amount” shall mean not more than two-hundred and fifty (250) pages of the content contained in the purchased materials.

Springer Ebooks

Click on the Print icon in the top right of the page and this open a full text preview. You can then print the page. You can also open the PDF of the chapter and print the pages you need by clicking on the print icon.

Download and print electronic content via SpringerLink, each in reasonable quantities solely for scholarly, educational or personal uses.

Canadian University Presses (Borrowable Books)

In order to view or borrow a book, you will need to create an Adobe ID.

You will also need an Adobe-compatible e-book reader for your computer and / or mobile device.

For a desktop computer you will need Adobe Digital Editions and for a tablet you will need either Bluefire Reader or a Kobo.

Please note that you can only borrow a book for 3 days.

You can return the book within your reader at any time by right-clicking on it and choosing “returned borrowed item.” There is no penalty for not returning a book, but it does make it available to someone else sooner. If you do not return the book, it will automatically expire and be removed from your reader after the loan period.

ProQuest Ebook Central

Depending on the e-book, you can download a pdf chapter.

You can also download the e-book and "borrow" it . You will need to create a ProQuest Ebook Central account. You will also need 3rd party software like Adobe Digital Editions

 

Allows you to download a chapter, range of pages or download the entire e-book. For 1 and 3 simultaneous users, you can download the e-book for one day. For unlimited users, you can download the e-book for 21 days.
