There are many entry points, or ways to search, for scholarly journal articles. The methods you use to search will depend on your information need. For example, the method you use to find a specific article (that you know the title, author and other citation information for) and the method you use to collect all relevant information on a particular topic, will be very different. There is no “right way” to search, but some methods will be more effective than others.
