You can publish your reading list after you have added citations. Your readings will be viewable by your students. If useful, you can make your list viewable by anyone at the institution, or by the general public.

Publishing your list also sends an alert to the library. We will view your list and fulfill any library tasks that need to be done - which might include putting a print book on short term loan at the library desk, or acquiring copyright clearance for an item.
