We have two Ultimaker 3 printers for creating 3D objects, one standard size and one extended size, allowing for larger prints.
Our printers are dual extrusion printers, meaning they are capable of printing with two different filaments at one time. The two filaments can be two different colours of PLA or one coloured PLA and one removable support filament.

The 3D printers are located in LI-1005 on the main floor of the Chancellor Paterson Library.

The Einscan SP 3D scanner consists of two structured light technology cameras mounted on a stand and a turntable. The turntable and the cameras are controlled by the Einscan scanning software.

The 3D scanner is located in LI-1005 on the main floor of the Chancellor Paterson Library.

The Oculus Rift system provides users with the opportunity to explore virtual reality environments.

The Rift system consists of a VR headset, two touch controllers and two table-top sensors which establish your virtual reality boundaries.

A list of Rift applications can be found in this guide under Virtual Reality.

The virtual reality system is located in LI-1006 on the main floor of the Chancellor Paterson Library.
