Finding Books in the Library
To find books on a specific topic, try doing a subject search
How do you do that?
- Go to the Online Catalogue and choose Subject Heading from the drop-down menu
- Type in your search term- for example - Canada Politics and Government and then click on the Search button
- Note the different subjects related to the Canada Politics and Government
Sometimes, the subject heading doesn't match your search term so below are some tips for searching popular subjects:
- War of 1812 - use United States History War of 1812
- World War I - use World War, 1914-1918
- World War II - use World War, 1939-1945
