Education Journal Databases

The following subject-specific Education databases will help you find journal articles in journals specific to Education. You have access to additional databases on all other topics on the Databases AtoZ page.

Multidisciplinary Databases

If your subject is multidisciplinary or you are unsure of where to begin you can try your search in a multidisciplinary database.

The Library's "SearchItAll" is a "discovery tool" that searches the majority of the library's databases, books and other content.  With this search you will find books, ebooks, journal articles, DVDs, videostreaming titles, kits, and more.  You can filter your search using the search limiters on the left side of your results screen.

Other multidisciplinary databases are also available.

Search Google Scholar

Google Scholar provides an excellent alternative for locating journal articles.  Be sure to use the link on this page or any Lakehead University Library website page so that you will be automatically linked to Lakehead University Library's fulltext holdings whenever the results say "Get it at Lakehead"

Check this tutorial to improve your Google searching:
