Download Beyond 20/20
Statistics Canada releases some of their files in Beyond 20/20 format, a free Windows-based program that allows users to manipulate their data to a much greater degree than is possible with the interface on the Statistics Canada website.
2011 Census Profile
Search the Census Profiles when you want data on a specific place or area by typing in its place name; browsing a list; or entering a postal code or a geographic code.
Data are included on provinces and territories, census metropolitan areas, communities and census tracts (neighbourhoods within larger cities)..
2011 Census Topic-Based Tabulations
These tables typically combine at least four variables to provide a much more in-depth portrait of an area than the Profiles. Some tables are available at the census tract level but many are not due to confidentiality.

- Canadian Census AnalyserThe Canadian Census Analyser provides access to Census data from 1961 - 2011 and the 2011 National Household Survey. The database includes Census Profile Tables for the dissemination / enumeration area, census tract, census division, provincial and federal electoral district levels and microdata and postal conversion files. Output formats include html, text, spreadsheet, SAS and SPSS.
- ODESIStatistics Canada datasets, datafiles from Gallup Canada and other polling companies and public domain files such as the Canadian National Election Surveys
Many data formats are available including SPSS, SAS, Stata and text.
Beyond 20/20 software is available when needed for some ODESI files. Also includes data from the 1961 - 2011 Censuses of Agriculture.
